Necropsy is the major part of broiler disease diagnosis because it provides the first, fastest, and most integrative assessment of what is happening inside the flock. After observing the flock, it links clinical signs with internal lesions, guides sample collection, and determines which laboratory tests are needed. Without necropsy, broiler disease investigation is difficult.
